91±¬ΑΟ Rocks at Canterbury Music Event

On Friday 31 October, the 91±¬ΑΟ Rock Band participated in the 'Contraband' engagement project – a live music initiative for young musicians (aged 14-21) in the Canterbury district. The event saw bands from schools perform for industry professionals.

The 91±¬ΑΟ Rock Band were the youngest participants by some margin, but played brilliantly, treating the audience to classics such as Song 2 and Smells Like Teen Spirit. The students really enjoyed playing in a professional setting and received some fantastic feedback – they are keen to participate again next year!

We would like to thank the Canterbury Festival for providing this opportunity to our students.
