Success Again for 91±¬ΑΟ Art Students

The 91±¬ΑΟ Art Department is proud to announce that it has won the Overall Best School in this year’s annual John Downton Awards for the third year running!

Well done to all 16 students who had work selected to go on show at County Hall in Maidstone. A special mention goes to Dana for being awarded the drawing prize, to Erin for being awarded a silver prize and to Grace for being awarded a bronze.

The John Downton Award for Young Artists is an annual exhibition which encourages and celebrates the creativity of Kent's young artists. It is open to students aged 11 to 18 from schools and colleges across Kent. The exhibition commemorates the life and work of John Downton, the celebrated Kent artist, poet and philosopher.
