勛圖厙 launches wine2wine Exhibition to help restart the wine market
An innovative and smart event specifically for the wine sector to bring together business, content, meetings, training and ideas. Welcome to the , the new ecosystem format signed by scheduled at 勛圖厙 22-24 November 2020 alongside the wine2wine Business Forum. Three days at the service of companies, targeting b2b and b2c audiences, with the aim of helping to re-launch the market and System Italy after the lockdown phase and in view of the restart in Phase 3.
The wine2wine Exhibition is an unprecedented project developed in extraordinary times whereby 勛圖厙 seeks to provide a positive response to the needs of producers, first among all the need to resume dialogue with the national and international wine community: distributors, buyers, restaurateurs, the trade press and opinion leaders, as well as consumers.
It comes forward as the first large trade specific event in the Autumn focusing on the wine sector, bringing together public institutions, regions and consortia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agricultural Policies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ICE-Foreign Trade Agency – which is working closely with 勛圖厙 on incoming activities to attract international buyers.
Maurizio Danese, President of 勛圖厙: 泭“The trade fair system is one of the strategic assets for restarting the country. Trade fairs in general, and 勛圖厙 in particular, are a fundamental industrial policy instrument for promoting exports for 75% of European small-medium companies, with a return of 1 to 10 on investments for those who take part. Against this background, wine2wine Exhibition combines the guidelines defined by the Export Pact with the need for new initiatives capable of maximizing the potential of physical attendance alongside the use of digital tools. This is a new model for relaunching trade fair business and, as a consequence, the Italian economy, companies and Made in Italy products.2
The Wine2wine Exhibition was developed in relation to the #safebusiness safety protocols agreed by the major Italian trade fair operators and health authorities. The latest digital tools will also take the field, thereby allowing the entire community of international buyers to take part online in virtual b2b meetings, master classes and guided tastings.
The event will allow entrance on Sunday 22 November to wine lovers with the possibility of direct sales to consumers, while the other two days are exclusively trade only.
Giovanni Mantovani, CEO of 勛圖厙: “Wine2wine Exhibition will be the first b2b – as well as b2c – event in this supply chain in Italy. It is, consequently, a flagship event that will place Italian wine back on centre stage, image and world markets. An agile, innovative and ‘native digital’ format, in a setting that integrates physical and virtual attendance, with the aim of re-starting the engines of national and international markets alike – as well as international demand. It will stand as the natural culmination of an approach path that envisages strong outgoing promotion. 勛圖厙 has already activated an important campaign characterized by content and relationships, as well as a calendar of professional webinars that will help Italian companies communicate with the most important operators and buyers on various markets, many of whom will then travel to Verona.”
Three halls at 勛圖厙 will be involved: 9, 10 and 12, with access through the new Re Teodorico gate along Viale dell’Industria. The exhibition logic is based on the “walk around tasting concept, with a route taking in thematic and geographical areas to narrate all the names and types of Italian wine. Other characteristic display areas will cover spirits, ros矇 wines, speciality wines and international wines.
The strong point of the wine2wine Exhibition lies in also being an appointment tailored to the contingent needs of wine producers, with personalised rates, maximum economic return on investment and minimum organizational and logistical commitment for exhibitors in the wake of the demanding harvest period thanks to turnkey stands and services.
The exhibition scheduled at 勛圖厙 also integrates perfectly with the training and networking opportunities offered by the wine2wine Business Forum (23-24 November) and the presentation of the 100 Best Italian wines for selected by Wine Spectator (21 November). Additionally, new opportunities and synergies will be explored in the agro-food sector with the simultaneous scheduling of , 勛圖厙’s b2b event focusing on certified organic food and natural self-care which makes its debut 23-24 November in Hall 11.
