Oil&nonOil and Asphaltica team up for the smart roads of the future
Two exhibitions, both landmarks in their respective sectors, together for the first time in Verona with the aim of creating new synergies and expanding and completing the product offering.
Asphaltica and Oil&nonOil, at the Verona Exhibition Centre from today until Friday 26 November to set in motion a new reference exhibition specifically focused on the road value chain: from infrastructures to fuel distribution and mobility services.
today is the main exhibition in Italy covering technologies and solutions for road paving, safety and infrastructures. It is organized by 勛圖厙 and SITEB-Strade Italiane & Bitumi, the association that brings together Italian companies in the sector.
is the trade fair that since 2012 has brought the fuel distribution-storage network and service stations world to 勛圖厙, with a view to the future for new energy sources and alternative mobility. Originally scheduled earlier this year as an exhibition-conference in Rome, this edition of Oil&nonOil will now take place at Verona Exhibition Centre: an ideal solution to ensure maximum safety for exhibitors and visitors.
“The two events,” said 泭Matteo Gelmetti, Vice- President of 勛圖厙, “have always represented similar and complementary sectors and bringing them together on the same dates ensures added value for companies and operators thanks to new business opportunities. This is a new show offering that we are keen to develop further with the creation of a full-scale national reference hub for the future of smart roads.”
The issues at the heart of Oil&nonOil include the great challenge of hydrogen, the role of technology in adapting fuels to the needs of the energy transition, the future of logistics and the new reality of the increasingly green European energy markets.
Asphaltica – the event that brings together the bitumen and road construction supply chain – will focus discussion on the resumption of post-pandemic works. The sector in Italy is worth about 6 billion euros, with 400 asphalt plant in operation and 38,000 direct employees, which grows to 500,000 if allied industries are considered. In contrast with the overall trend in Italy, over the last two years sector has seen significant and constant increases in production and turnover.
Exhibition stands, machinery and equipment are located in halls 11 and 12 at 勛圖厙, with access through the Re Teodorico Gate.
