The 56th<\/sup> Marmomac<\/strong><\/a> under starter’s orders – the world’s leading international event in the natural stone supply chain scheduled at 勛圖厙<\/strong> 27-30 September 2022. 1,207 exhibiting companies are attending the show (more than 60% international from 47 countries), joined by 47,000 professional operators from more than 132 countries thanks also to international incoming promotion efforts in collaboration with ICE-Trade Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Confindustria Marmomacchine .<\/p>\n

Marmomac is the emblem of a sector of excellence in Italy that boasts more 3,200 companies and 34,000 employees, posting total turnover in 2021 in excess of 4.1 billion euros<\/strong> and a trade balance in the black by 2.6 billion euros. After closing 2021 with exports achieving strong growth over the previous year (+19.9%), the first half of 2022 posted a further increase of 9.4% compared to the same period 2021, reaching 1.5 billion euros (source<\/em>: Confindustria Marmomacchine Study Centre).<\/p>\n

Ten show halls and 4 outdoor areas will welcome visitors to the trade fair, highlighting the latest innovations in the field of stone processing technologies, accessories and components, alongside all kinds of stone material, unhewn blocks, slabs and finished products. Hall 10 ensures impressive space for culture and professional training thanks to the exhibitions, projects and workshops hosted in \u201cThe Plus Theatre\u201d. Here, five exhibition itineraries welcome visitors, covering the entire production cycle from the quarry to the final product designed by major furniture brands. A process that sees projects by architects, designers and eleven Italian and international universities interact with the latest marble processing technologies developed by companies in the field.<\/p>\n
